Piper USD 203 is pleased to announce the hiring of Mr. Tim Leffert as the next principal at Piper Middle School for the 2023-2024 school year. This marks a return to the Piper School District for Mr. Leffert, who served as a Spanish teacher and debate, forensics, and scholars bowl sponsor at Piper High School for three years from 2014-2017 before beginning his path to administration.
“It is a wonderful feeling to be able to return to the Piper school community that provided me so much opportunity at the start of my career and give back as principal of Piper Middle School,” Mr. Leffert said. “The Piper community is so supportive of its schools and I am looking forward to the opportunity to reconnect with students, staff, and parents to build on this strong sense of community at Piper Middle School. I have always admired the level of excellence expected at all levels within Piper, and I am happy be a part of that tradition.”
Most recently Mr. Leffert has served as the principal at Robinson Middle School in Topeka for the past two years after previously serving as assistant principal of the school for one year.
